Patch Notes

What's New

Every release since the gates opened — the changes you actually feel at the table.

  1. v2.0

    The Grand Play Update

    NewAugust 22, 2026
    • Advantage & Disadvantage: when the referee calls it, two d20s fly — the higher or the lower one counts
    • Helping Hand: lend a shoulder to a teammate's pending roll and it becomes an advantage pair
    • Status effects: poison, bleed, burn, fear and bless are real conditions now, ticking turn by turn
    • Signature moves: every class carries one ace to play per combat
    • Camp: a breath between dangers — wounds close, conditions cleanse, signature moves recharge
    • Renown: your deeds become regional fame (or infamy), and the world treats you accordingly
    • Blood Feud: a foe that slips away remembers — it returns stronger, scarred, and looking for you
    • The Bard's Tongue: real deeds from other tables travel the taverns as rumor
    • Allies: summoned or rallied forces now truly fight at your side
  2. v1.11

    Spectators and Chains

    August 22, 2026
    • Spectator mode: open your table to watchers — a view-only seat via invite link or the friends shelf
    • Chained dice: one die's fate can hinge on another — if the prerequisite falls, the second die never rolls
    • Boss deaths are audited against the dice: the narration can no longer outrun the math of the rolls
  3. v1.10

    The Guidebook

    August 20, 2026
    • The Guide: articles on playing with an AI Game Master — in six languages, for new adventurers
    • An About page: who Thavernia is, on one page
    • A round of repairs: the combat banner, scrollbars and the mobile logo among them
  4. v1.9

    Words and Flame

    August 18, 2026
    • Play by voice: speak your move into the microphone and watch it land in the composer
    • Scene transitions: the old scene catches fire at the corner and burns away for the new one
    • Defense rolls and real combat escalation: draw steel and the world answers
    • A roomier three-line composer
  5. v1.8

    The Living Room

    • Combat entrances: a cinematic letterbox and war banners
    • Illuminated initials and richer gilt frames
    • A journey map with chapter dividers: your adventure becomes a route
    • NPC introduction cards and living party cards

    Straight Through the Door

    • A redesigned trial screen: one tap and the adventure begins
  7. v1.6

    Carrier Ravens

    August 9, 2026
    • Parchment letters: welcome, level-up, weekly digest and more — designed emails in six languages
    • Email preferences: which letters reach you is entirely in your hands
    • A real turn that plays itself on the landing page — you don't have to take our word for it
  8. v1.5

    The Rhythm of the Scene

    August 7, 2026
    • Dramatic beats: crits, deaths and turning points get their cinematic due
    • The Game Master's narration now streams live to the whole table, letter by letter
    • Friendly fire: steel can be drawn within the party — but a party member never counts as a monster
    • Boss fights: three phases, an honest damage ledger, and no one-hit endings
    • One inventory system: the same item card on every screen
    • Seven new relief dice and a carved new character-builder frame
  9. v1.4

    The Die Is Yours

    • Two-phase dice: the Game Master calls for a roll, and YOU throw it — the whole table watches live
    • Sculpted 3D dice and a dice collection you pick from your profile
    • Critical moments: a natural 20 is a feast, a natural 1 a fumble — both leave their mark on the story
    • Attack damage now flows from the result of the die
    • Worn gear grants your rolls a real edge (+1 to +3)
    • A hero knocked out steps off the stage until healed
  10. v1.3
